Hi there and welcome to my little part of the world! My name is, Nora Motter Stark, and I truly LOVE meeting new people, listening to their unique stories and especially exploring fun and interesting places together.

This all might be because I grew up in a museum…Yes, an actual real MUSEUM!!!…the First National Bank Museum in the historic Susquehanna River town of Columbia, Pennsylvania. My parents, Lloyd and Jean Motter, did the hard work and restoration to create this small, private “bank museum”, way back in 1967, with the original bank fixtures, furnishings, and documents, that remained in the two front corner rooms of our circa 1814 home. So, I have literally grown up, from the time I was a little girl, as a “tour guide” and have been giving tours of our family’s museum, almost ever since.

Over the years, I have created and guided architectural walking and driving tours for individuals as well as, “step-on” guide services for motorcoach tour groups, by showing them around our spectacular region, which is in the beautiful heart between Lancaster and York Counties in Pennsylvania. There are so many fascinating historical museums and sites, amazing buildings and homes with magnificent architecture, charming antique and art galleries, fantastic outdoor
recreational opportunities, and many other little, “hidden” gems that you won’t usually see in most tours but, that I will be very happy to help you find!

Two of my favorite things to do and my biggest passions, (actually obsessions), are traveling anywhere in the world and trying delicious local foods and drinks. Therefore, I would welcome the opportunity to travel together around our delightful, small part of the world and share with you, just some of our best local museums, farmers’ markets, micro-breweries and wineries, family-owned businesses and restaurants, tiny cafes, and yummy seasonal and homemade
goodies!
